Dreams... of MORE violence?!?

This guy apparently has them in spades...!

Who Wants To Be A Troglodyte?

This guy takes the cake, really:
with some kindly help from ''Motherly Russia''
he instigated a bunch of senseless scuffles
(most notably in a restaurant in Brussels, of all places,
on a Lufthansa flight as well as during prayer time
all around the capital, Sofia,
right at home hence
but in the company
of equally rude and boorish
neo-nazi friends...!)
and, he does it all in the names of
nationalism and patriotism!

The lunatic is, after all,
leader of a bonafide political party;
a party aptly named ATAKA...!

(It would be such a great name for a
Portuguese party, or simplest of slogans:
''Vamos Ataka!!!''
Atacar, quer dizer... Em *bom* Português...!
É assim...)

Needless to say...
You don't have to read or speak
Bulgarian in order to grasp
the virulence behind the concept
and ideology of this party!

Just when you thought you'd seen
and heard it all...

VIOLENCE - but there is hope on the horizon...

Lurking, there, right on the spot itself...!

Maybe the best video yet

And Also Remember... The 17th Of November!

Today, we remember a marquee match-up during FIFA World Cup qualification history: a game which decided who would move on to play for the World Cup, and who would, as the Frenski say, mordre la poussière!  As it turned out, and quite fittingly enough, on the 17th of November 1993, it was Team France that did, bite the dust - and Team Bulgaria moved on to bigger and better things!

France and Bulgaria are flat out dead even in international competition as it stands now; however, back in 1993, it was the most memorable victory for Bulgaria over those damnable Frenski for it came amidst an incredible run for Team Bulgaria - one that saw them come just a little bit short of actually winning it all! One commentator was so elated, he exclaimed, with this 2-1 win sealed and delivered, ''God Is Bulgarian!'' - nothing less!

Let's watch THE DECISIVE GOAL:

Gotta love that ''EUROSUCRE'' ad-banner - priceless!
Emil Kostadinov played for FC PORTO, I hear...?
Épa - Portugalia! ;)

Bulgaria would go on to be in the Final Four subsequently. They stood toe-to-toe with all the elite teams left in the competition at the time: Germany, Argentina and Mexico in the 1994 World Cup. And, even though the magical run would have a bitter ending (gorshivo?) ultimately, this is remembered as the most impressive display of team unity and execution on the field ever put on by the national selection - something that made the entire country of Bulgaria immensely proud!

Viva Bulgaria!

Remember, Remember, The 10th Of November...!

It was today that the people won -
and oppression lost!
It was on this very date, yes, that
the dictator abdicated -
ushering in a new age
for all the land...!
It was on this day
that hope shattered
the dismal grey firmament
that had permeated the atmosphere
for decades of insufferable,
inept and inane communism.

Aye, it was today,
November the 10th -
back in 1989.

On this day, 24 years ago, the official start of the transition in Bulgaria was given, as Todor Zhivkov, the general secretary of the Bulgarian Communist Party, was discharged from his position.

And today,
November the 10th,  2013
we can hope anew.

For, if communism is like a mythical hydra
with a thousand heads
- you slay one
and ten more spring forth -
Bulgaria does not lack sharp blades
and fancy swords...
Although,
we all know that
the pen is mightier...!

And a single word suffices:

#OSTAVKA!
We can do it - again!

And, HEY, YO - NO, the colors of the flag are NOT upside down!
They're in the proper order of priorities required for the task at hand now!
À Bon Entendeur, Salut!
Or rather...
Zdrasti!

Say Zdravei To The Foundation...!

Ostavka Man was there...
and The Foundation simply never knew...!
Dobrei...!

What a fine concert it was, still;
full of raw emotion, nostalgia aplenty
and great rock!

Five -count'em, five!- Bulgarian artists
of immense talent:

Kiril Marichkov (“Shturtsite” - The Crickets!)
Ivan Lechev (of “FSB” renown)
Doni (one half of “Doni & Momchil”)
Slavcho Nikolov (of “BTR” renown)
and drummer Venko Poromanski (“Te”)

Five representatives of different groups
united to bring Bulgarian music to Bulgarians abroad!
Beautiful!
They went on a sort of mini-tour across North America
performing in Seattle and Toronto
before landing in Montreal -
basically, everywhere that there are, now,
flourishing Bulgarian communities!

The songs they performed were familiar to me, too;
all the hit songs that inspired
generations of Europeans
to reach out for their dreams
and deepest aspirations.
And not just each other's various hits
but other bands hits, too
(such as the quite emblematic now Kukla...!)

However, for the partly-Canadian Barbarian observer,
appreciative of the sounds, beats, emotions
but only -possibly- of a fraction of the lyrics
(hey - it's all Greek to me, okay?)
it was like seeing the most compelling assemblage
of diverse musicians ever assembled on one stage:
imagine attending a show featuring
Geddy Lee (it was good Doni looks and sounds like him;
and not like Donny of Donny & Marie!)
André Rieu (Ivan Lechev can give André a run for his violin...)
David Crosby (Kiril projects the same aura -
he doesn't just sport the same hairstyle!)
Robbie Robertson (Slavcho is another Robbie, methinks...)
and Nir Z (of Genesis renown) on drums...
That's what The Foundation looked like to me!
And that is, admittedly, a great foundation
to keep on building upon,
indeed!

Bravo!

Viva Bulgaria!

Thanks, Joro!

Ruski Dreams...?!?

Are Bulgarians dreaming of being... Russian?
Have they ever dreamt of such a thing?
(No offence meant here: I'm just asking...!)

If so, maybe these are the dream songs to listen to...
Before migrating north... nyet?
Watch the show then, where many of them tunes
were gathered, for your listening pleasure...
(Nota Bene: if there is no screen below, here,
check it out at ru.tv itself!
After all, as the Americans say,
the show must go on...!
No matter what...!  ;-)

Playlist subject to complete inability to play or even embed and exist, here -
as we hinted before; after all, it is made in Russia...
And, like everything else made in Russia

it is by sheer miracle that it works, at all...!

Once again, we protest...!
And, once again,
many thanks to the ingenious use of cowbells
from one Petar Bonev
bagpiper extraordinaire
from Bulgaria,
making up the musical background,
which is much of the soundtrack
for these videos and slideshows
(part of our *Protestite Series*)
when there are no chants of ''OSTAVKA!''
nor inspirational speeches
from ''Ostavka-Man''
to be heard and enjoyed!

Merci!

Konsolidatsiya - Consolidação - Unity!

How better to solidify a nation
than to refocus upon the common struggle that it faces?
And how better to drive the point across
than by underlining the bond between nations
(Bulgaria and Portugal, in this particular case -
why? 'Cause I say so - and am it!)
with style, substance and panache
and doing so with sub-titles, to boot - in a third language!

For I've said it before, and I state it again, here:
Bulgaria and Portugal have a ton of things in common!
Not only do they share virtually the same national colors
(the only closer match would be Hungary and Bulgaria!)
but they also share a similar long, hard-luck type of history
that made them who they are now,
drove them to roam and conquer the entire globe
(in different ways, granted - as in different eras too)
and shaped their nations for things to come soon...

Their crests are astonishingly close (as they should be)

Their flags, as we said, obvious brothers of the E.U.

And what can we say about the uncanny similarities
that exist between the people, too?

Two countries:  two similar struggles!
Inept governments are a fad all across the globe,
don't you know?

And so, having driven all that across to you,
it is time to present our
FEATURE PRESENTATION:

Thus, only one thing remains to say here, indeed...

And that is

OSTAVKA!
ÉPA...!
JÀ!

Ostavka Man!

Behold the coming of... Ostavka Man!
Drawing upon the fortitude of ancient kings,
Ostavka Man swears to keep a vigil
until the evil Oligarchy is no more
Even as most other protesters
seem to have lost interest...
All but the Radiant One, that is!
With she by the side of Ostavka Man,
all of Bulgaria can rest at ease -
they've got some big-time back-up there!
Back-up that they sorely need, too...
But that's another story!
Let's watch the clip now...

Music Credits:

Uploaded to soundcloud.com
by one Boyko Gargov -
which prompts us to say:
thank you, Boyko!
Ironically enough...
Tis a sampling of the wondrous work
of one... Petar Bonev!

Bravo Bojkov

Live-streaming of all that has been going on in the streets of Sofia during these days of defiance has been assured by one man - one blogger - Yvo Bojkov, whose flawless Frenski is evidenced here in a special report on the situation that explains the entire situation - complete with German subtitles!
Numer Ein!

It sure wasn't going to be B-tv that was going to provide all this footage...!
(Certainly not anything on the re-enactment of the wall of Berlin tumbling down - or even the live staging of a very famous painting by Ferdinand Victor Eugène Delacroix on the subject of Révolution...! For once, Bulgaria will benefit for real in borrowing from the Frenski there...!)

Is Bojkov the new Botev?

We are sure Yvo wouldn't mind that - as long as the ending is decisively different there...!

Join Yvo Bojkov and all of Sofia now and chant (and dance!) with us:

OSTAVKA!
OSTAVKA!!
OSTAVKA!!!

Many thanks to all the protesters who showed up,
of all ages, levels of ''fed-upness'' and more,
to George Lucas for the rebellious inspiration,
to Commie goofs for the material
with which we can knit our laughing stockings,
to the Notre-Dame Basilica of MTL
(for the background it provided,
the atmosphere it created as
for its Parisian flair - and envy)
And to our musical guest,
 Volodja Stoyanov
(a Bulgarian with a Russian name
who hails from a Macedonian region
and musical background - actually!)
whose song enhances this new slideshow
(his masterful ''Nazad Nazad Mome Kalino''
is sampled here - and it, once again,
delivers the right tone and rhythm
for this 2nd mini-epic luminous production!

Ostavka - Luminous-Style!

We promised you more chants of this nature - and here they are!
As we continue to appeal for... heck, to clamor for...
no, make that to demand that those buffoons in power
abdicate pronto - and once and for all...
We decided to take to the streets once more
and so we stopped by the moribund grounds of Old Montreal
in order to make it clear - once and for all!

Since it is Montréal, we've got to make it clear in Frenski too...
So here goes...

For those of you wondering what the hell is being said
in the above video: it's, quite literally,
''Yo, Bulgaria!  Az Stoya Zad Protestite!
Ostavka! Ostavka! Ostavka!''
In other words:
''Hey, Bulgaria - it is me who is behind
all of those protests - yeah!
Resignation! Resignation! Resignation!''

That certain corrupt political clod
who thought he had it all figured out
certainly never saw THIS ONE coming...!

Many thanks to the 18-second director, George,
and his loud and crystal-clear ''cut'' in there...
And to our Macedonian friend to all,
Volodja Stoyanov
whose song enhances the slideshow part
of this short luminous presentation
(his masterful ''Makedonsko Devoiche''
is sampled here - and it delivers the right tone
for this mini-epic luminous production!
Buy Volodja Stoyanov CDs
wherever good Macedonian music is sold!)

And to end on a colourful note,
let us quote another songman,  Billy Joel
we didn't start the fire -
it was always burning
since the world was turning...

Sure...
But we can always add fuel to it!
;-)

Ostavka - Lubomir-Style!

And also CYRILLIC-STYLE... as it is!
Cyrillic - and epic!
A trailer worthy of the greatest
cinematic event...!
However - this isn't cinema.
This is REAL!
And reality is always stranger than fiction!

From one LP to another -
bravo!
;-)

Ostavka - London-Style!

Forget about Gangnam Style - that's so passé... merci! It's all about Ostavka now - and, for starters, we shall serve it here... Londonian style!

In Yordan's own words, and as seen on his Vimeo channel, here is a succinct summary of what is going on in Bulgaria - and abroad, amongst Bulgarian communities everywhere but, most particularly this time out, of course, in venerable good old London...

Londoners have something to say to current Bulgarian government and MPs.
Bulgarians have been protesting against their current government for over a month now. Against the Oligarchy. Against the Mafia. Against the post-communism. Against the lack of moral and humanity in people with power and money.
I thank once again the people who raised their voices in support of the Bulgarian cause!
Go to #ДАНСwithmeGlobal and #ДАНСwithme to learn more and follow the events!
NOTE: Every participant in the video knows what the meaning of the words they speak is! They also have knowledge on the situation in Bulgaria and reasons for the protests!

What can we add to that at this time (much, much more - later on! But as for right now, it will only be one word... The buzz word...)  ---  ostavka!!!

;-)

Wowee Bulgaria!

Wondrous things are happening in BG and throughout the world amongst all the Bulgarian communities (thanks to that other wondrous thing called Social Networking) right NOW: there have been protests, rallies, chants calling for the immediate resignation of the corrupt-to-the-core communist-imbued government (and, as far as corrupt or inept governments go, we know what it is like, BG, over in Canada, the USA, the U.K. overall, Spain, Greece, Italia or Portugal - basically all of the countries that we are linked to here, on the TLB Prime Network - but that is another story... Da!)

As recently seen on that famous bastion of social networking:
Corruption aficionados still got the message, I'm sure of it -
kudos and highest regards to whoever it was that put it together;
your grasp of the English language is better
than my grasp of the Cyrillic Alphabet!
But that is another story, too...

Most recently, thus, right after their joyous July Morning, the organizers of such rambuctious coups d'éclats have staged a massive blockade of parliament - meant not to end until all of the corrupt clowns have effectively abandoned their foolish claim to power...

Boiko The Clown - more than any other of these clowns - must be feeling the sting of this as he had dreamt that his many machiavellian manoeuvers (taught to him by his mentor, The Dic-Tater) had successfully landed him right back on top of things... After he had relinquished power, a while back, in the vain hopes to achieve notoriety as a ''good guy'' with the ignorant foreign media, he had ascended right back into the pole position following some mockery of the elective process - yet again...

That was pure folly on his part and on his party's part - to ignore that BG News has been spreading the truth about them worldwide, despite their attempts to keep their own people in the dark about all of their (many - oh-so-many) flaws and outright hideous aspects...

And now - the whole world is joining, as all Bulgarian communities around the globe are clamoring for the resignation of these clowns, joining their voices to the ones who remain back home, in BG, protesting right outside of the parliament building in Sofia...

We will be joining one of those protests abroad - one of these early days of July... Da!

Onwards, Bulgaria - you may have allowed the re-election of the Clown and his cronies but, unlike the USA and their Dubya years ago, you are reacting to the aberration!  You are righting the wrong! GREAT!

Onwards Bulgaria - to LIBERTY!

Merci!

titled... VODA?

So now then,
as this non-controversy has been cleared
once and for all,
let us enjoy some more VODA...!

Dobrei! Back To The Dream Part - Dobrei!

In all honesty, I suppose that it would not be exaggeration to say that I've neglected the ''dreamy'' part of this chunk of the blogosphere - to strictly focus upon the less pleasant aspects of Bulgaria, lately.  It is nearly impossible not to do so, with all the political turmoil going on in that country - the farce and mockery of justice that all the usual players have made of it, playing their own people like fools...   Let it not be said that I cannot still see the beauty of Bulgaria - and the paradisical aspects that it undeniably possesses, when we can somehow avoid peeking at certain of these individuals in the backdrop...

And so here we go - BACK TO BULGARIA!
Back to its very best advantages and assets - unequaled virtually everywhere else in Europe and certainly in the United States and its dumb cousin - Canada, eh?

For, in Bulgaria, drugs are dirt cheap -

and antibiotics can be obtained

over the counter,

without any prescription whatsoever!

*You* prescribed it to yourself -

you go out there and get it!

It's as simple as that!

All that - and RAKIA too!

Oh yes, without a shadow of a doubt,

Bulgaria *is* a paradise...!!!

I can't believe it, Bulgaria  -
you've repeated the same mistake.
You're no better than the USA:
you've re-elected a clown.
As they say, and you can repeat now,
(call it Englenski 101) :
fool me once, shame on you
fooled me twice, shame on me.

And truth be told (or blogged, really)
Bush a.k.a Dubya
wasn't all that much worse
than the Pumpkin a.k.a
Boiko The Clown...!

You want to keep those bozos on
as your bogus heroes, Bulgaria?
Keep them then!
We wash our hands of this!
The rest of the world
-not merely the European Union-
washes its hands of this!

Честит Трети март!

Be it the Day of Liberation or the Day of Independence (I understand that the debate is still on about that) - today is the celebration of FREEDOM, by any other name, for all Bulgarians!
And to all freedom-lovers and freedom-seekers there an abroad, I wish thee a GREAT ONE!
For the time of oppression has to come to an end: Boiko The Clown and his array of pumpkinheads have to disappear, once and for all, in order for TRUE LIBERATION TO COME, AT LAST!  May it be a total and complete liberation indeed: one from the tyrannical remnants of communism, from a system that is rotten to the core, from the corruption lying under its underbelly, from the organized crime and the unsightly Whore...!  Moreover, may it be a liberation from the hideous side of oneself: and may only the beautiful aspects of Bulgaria live on and thrive on after this wave of changes and gust of fresh air that is about to sweep the nation from Vitosha to the Black Sea!  And no commies, no gypsies, no mafiosos and no pumpkins can stop it now!

VIVA BULGARIA - LIBRE!
;-)

+++

Post-Bloggum - How ironic this is, that they staged so many protests against the awful austerity measures reminiscent of old communist regime tactics; protests with record numbers of participants, in 20 different cities to boot, all across a country that appears to have more and more ties with Bulgaria as time goes by... Portugalia!   And how ironic that all these protests were staged very nearly on the same day (okay, give or take less than 24 hours; still pretty much the same day) of ''liberation'' for Bulgaria, the dormant lion of Europa, days after and before Bulgaria's own wave of protests too!  Portugalia and Bulgaria are linked through many very distinct traits: and it is not just because the Bulgarian government was, most recently, before the Pumpkin's resignation, willing to buy old  fighter jets from Portugal for hundreds of millions...!  Thank you for contributing to the reboot of the Portuguese economy, though - merci!   It could really due to the many similarities found in the respective cultures, traditions, folklore and even language and idioms. What about the rakia and agua ardente: are they close cousins or what! But no, the real reason is this, of course: the king and queen of Europa, married in Sofia and exiled... in Canada? Yours truly - and she!  No need to involve the Canadiana tis time out, though - however, to further this line of *luminous connections* we strongly encourage all to drop y our sister site/brother blog... Portuguese Dreams!   Muito Obrigado!  :-)

Dream On, Bulgarians!

Bulgarians, like many others throughout the globe,
aspire for better pricing for everything -
it is especially true when your country knows
what horrendous torture the hazy shade of winter can be
and when that sentiment is tripled
by collusion between the only suppliers
of electricity in your country...

So, yes, dream on Bulgarians:
keep on dreaming of better prices
for your heating bills;
for it could be worse...

Your country could be stuck
in a provincial subdivisional system
that subsidizes a monopolistic regime
of electricity distribution...
(Hmm... Canadian Dreams, anyone?)

Nota Bene: Canada welcomes all Bulgarians...!

TV reporter Polly Zlatareva told us one heart-warming story
about Portuguese dame Susanna Zhezus - an engineer surveyor employed by
the European Organization for Nuclear Research CERN
who came to Bulgaria to set up her home in the village Brestovo.
The primary cause of this: the fireflies.
And she is fluent in Bulgarian, too!
See the video - here.

Comments left on бнт's own website were few
(considering that over 9000 had read the article,
at blogging time here)
but enthusiastic and impressed
with the interest of a foreigner
for one of their old beaten up village
such as Brestovo there...

In fact, sometimes, the comments were just
oddly enthusiastic...
Here they are now -
accompanied with my comments:

Nevena
Wonderful story, I am very excited!
What's that excitement all about, hmm?
Is Nevena with the hots for Susanna here...?
Ok - maybe it's just a poor translation

by my browser here...

Kalina
A true Bulgarian! I hope these people come over
If she's a true Bulgarian,
then I'm a true Italian mafioso, too!
Hey - maybe she's in cahoots with the mafia,
too? Isn't the mafia in control
of everything that goes on, in Bulgaria?
An engineer from Portugal
defecting like this;
makes a hell of a lot more sense
if it is for mafia money
rather than for little fireflies
and a garden!
But that's just my theory...

Thank you Suzanne, thank journalists of бнт Television.
I bow to people brave enough to seek what makes them happy.
Unspoiled, tranquil and beautiful soul

Saudações de Sofia!

Aww... Milan is a charmer!
He's got the hots for Susanna, too!

Susanna is awesome, BRAVO! Great story.
There are many Bulgarian values that we can be proud of.
And one of them is our hospitality and rich spirit ... despite adversity.
Thank you for this wonderful meeting
with a Portuguese lady, charming and so real!
Obrigado, Susana!

Namesake Milen is right:
Bulgarians can be hospitable
- that is, when they're not busy
being envious, rude or worse!
Just the fact that everybody
says ``dober den`` to each other
(on the mountain, anyways)
is awesome -
but then, on the city streets,
any argument can see
them gang up on you!
And not letting up!
Something to be proud of...?
I don't think so!
On another front here,
Milen also has the hots for Susanna!
And speaking of which...

How can I get in touch with Suzanne?
Incredibly broadcast! I want to meet her!
I have a great desire to share something with this woman,
something very important! E-mail me, but: "esidor@abv.bg".
If someone could contact her let her pass it to
send an e-mail address where I can write it.
Thanks in advance!

Whoa, Don Ivan!
Hold back your enthusiasm there!
We know you want to share with her -
she prefers the company of the fireflies,
capisce?

Incredibly good for a story, an amazing woman

Yeah, us Portuguese are good
natural-born storytellers...
Com toda certeza!

Bravo for the story - twinkle light in the darkness in which we live ...

Probably the best, most telling comment of all -
Nikolai here says so much
with just one single sentence.
So, Susanna would be like a firefly herself;
twinkling in the night
of Bulgarian hum-drum existence...?
Is her last name truly... Zhezus?
(Or was that another glitch
from my browser's translator bot!)
If so...
Please don't crucify her, Bulgaria.
The Jews loved Jesus too, at first...
(And, since we're on that subject,
don't crucify me either,
you Bullies,
for telling the TRUTH... here!)

I admire the fortitude of Susanna!
Tya has made a faithful conclusion to come to Bulgaria
because of the thousands of people knew that
Bulgaria is heaven on earth,
so we are born and the oldest civilizations in the world
with BULGARIAN Neolithic "Hamangia" and Vinchanskata culture
(6th to 3rd th millennium BC),
with the great Neolithic culture "Varna" (fifth millennium BC)
and ezerskata culture of the Bronze Age culture
with Karanovska giving chronological system Neolithic
( Neolithic and Eneolithic) on the Balkan Peninsula!
Congratulation for Susanne, who really has chosen heaven on earth,
which is known for thousands of years our land,
the land of big (Ball) ruler (Khan)-Balkans-era:
Neolithic "Hamangia" and Vinchanskata culture (6th to 3rd th millennium BC),
the great Neolithic culture "Varna" (fifth millennium BC)
and ezerskata culture of the Bronze Age culture of Karanovska
giving chronological system Neolithic
(Neolithic and Eneolithic) on the Balkan Peninsula.
The earliest inhabitants of the Balkan Peninsula are the Thracians,
who come from prototrakiyski people
from the local population and the Indo-European peoples,
living in more than 80 different tribal groups to around 500 BC
when King Teres involves most them under the management
of Odrysian kingdom conquered by other warlike Thracian tribe
Edonoi in the early 4th century century BC,
later conquered around the first century - the Roman Empire.
After the Romans to fourth centuries, the Goths imposed.

All right, all right, Boris -
thank you so much for the spontaneous History summary!
It is undeniable, of course, that the country
has enormous amounts of history and tradition...
However, your emphasizing so much that Bulgaria
can be purported to be ''heaven on earth''
makes the overall intervention seem ''fixed''
- and ''Boris'' appear to be no more
than a propaganda agent
dispatched by the Pumpkin...!

Wonderful story that fascinates and makes us think.

Think on, Lyu - or as I say on my twitter
''think it through''...!

A unique find, unique story.
Very strong, very provocative, very human.
Good for Zlateva. Respect to you and Susanna
for your humanity and spirituality.

Thought-provoking, maybe:
but hardly ''provocative''...?
Don't use the excuse now
to get Susanna down
and kick her while she's down
three at a time,
as you do others...!

Congratulations to Polly Zlatareva!
A great story about an amazing woman - Susanna Zhezus!

Susanna made Polly's career - hurray!
Me, I'm thinking through something else...
What were the odds with these names:
one's a Zhezus...
And the other's a Polly - in Bulgaria?
Wow.

I do not know Susana, but I know the philosophy of life
of the peoples of the peninsula Iberiyskiat.
They are very warm, friendly and dedicated spiritual friends.
If you are sincere and good man,
so that from their blood group
Adding that has a male profession
and gets a zavladiyavashto vsepokoryavashto girl.
I do not know why everyone is surprised by the spiritual power,
so it is normal for people around the world,
but sadly disappearing in our country. In fact, the need to learn.

Very hard to decipher comment, this last one;
the automatic translator had a rough time with it,
quite obviously...
We'll abstain from commenting!
Here is the original comment -
maybe someone else can comment...?

Eu sò espero que nâo te arrependes desta mudança,
Susanna - é sô isto...!
Cuidado.
Que Deus Te Protege!
A ti - e os pirilampos também!
